I first knew South Korea back in Grade School, Aralin Panlipunan subject with a Miss Tapia looking teacher, I actually can’t remember her name anymore, she was too kind to be remembered had she hit me big time during those days I could have not forgotten her, anyway, thanks to her I knew where SK was on the map.
Along with my course of life, I got to read books, articles, watched movies and eventually got hooked with Hallyuwood and now an avid online stalker of melodramas from this country; seriously, SK really had raved the world through their TV programs.
What’s so remarkable was that they’re so successful in integrating ‘cinematic tourism’ in their TV shows, there actually started my burning desire to one day see the ‘Island of the gods’ they call Jeju. Forget about the dramas, this place billed to be one of the new 7 wonders of nature is really – breathtaking is an understatement.
While this island is outrageously famous for honeymooners, I’d like to believe renewing one’s soul and spirit and coming up with an awe-inspiring manuscript while taking a walk around this place is just awesome [minus sana the surge of tourists]

I’m not really good at painting, all of my works are exhibited only in my bedroom, but I have the basics, the desire and the drive, hence, an afternoon with a brush here is just splendid.
